Shower Games...
I need ideas!!! What kind of games did you guys have at yours or any baby shower??

bingo.
everyone fills in a blank bingo cards with gifts they think she will get at.
as the gifts are open the spaces are marked off. first to get a bingo wins a prize.

I like Baby Bingo. At my shower we got a big plastic baby bottle and filled it with M&M's and everyone had to guess how many were in there. Whoever was the the closest got a prize. If you do something like this you need a scale, trying to count all those M&M's would be impossible.  We counted 100 M&M's and weighed them, then added to the bottle by weight in order to determine how many were in there. (I hope that makes sense)

get a roll of toliet paper and have each table or person try to guess how much tp is needed to go around the mom-to-be's belly....the closest one wins! hope that makes sense

bingo is a good standard - I think it keeps people involved in the gift opening - which can get a little boring
I've seen another M&M game. Each person takes as many or as few as they wish and then for each one they take - they have to tell something they know about the mother-to-be (ex - where she went to HS...or even more detailed) (but don't tell anyone about the stories before they take the M&Ms)

My cousin's shower had games like
"Baby Animals" (Various animals are listed on a paper and guests have to guess what the term for that animal's baby is...i.e. "Whale" - - - A baby whale is a "Calf.")
"TV Kids" (Asked various questions about the names of children on a given TV Show...i.e. "What were the children's names on 'The Aadams Family?' - - - "Pugsley and Wednesday")
I've also seen things like jars that are passed around with different things in them (q-tips, m&m's, money, cotton balls) and people have to guess how many of the item are in the jar.

At my shower, my sister came up with a Celebrity Baby match game. It listed like 20 mothers and 20 babies (all girls, since I'm having a girl), and they had to match them. It was cute, especially for those who love gossip!

Guess the baby food--you take the labels off the baby food jars & just put #'s on them. People pass them around, taste them & try to guess the flavor
Who did it first--find out when the mom & dad reached certain milestones (walking, first words, etc) & then the guests try to guess who did what first

Gestation of Animals, guess the gestational period of mammals. Ex: Sperm Whale-480 days (Mammal Gestational Caculator)
Diaper Candy - Take 6-8 newborn diapers, melt (microwave) 6-8 chocolate candy bars (1 per diaper) in the diapers. Let diapers stand, become room temp. Let the crowd guess what kind of candy bar is in each diaper, pass them around, put a number on each diaper. Kinda gross...so may not be a game for everyone, but its fun.
