Re: Life Insurance

We have Liberty Life (its through Liberty Mutual). Price was right so we went for it.

Depends on whether you are looking for Term or Whole Life...anyway we have a great contact, so if you are interested FM and I will give you the info.

Re: Life Insurance

If your husband is Catholic he should look into joining the Knights of Columbus to take advantage of their life insurance programs. They have the top rating you can get for a life insurance company and they have been in force for over 100 years. That's important - you don't benefit by shopping price if the company you go with is not financially stable. Their whole life policies have one of the highest, if not the highest, dividend rates available.

K of C is also non-profit with a lot of money going to charity every year. They are the single largest donor to the Special Olympics, so you can spend with social consciousness, knowing that the profits of your premiums go to a good cause instead of some fat-cat executive salary or golden parachute.

Additionally, by being a member of the K of C, if your DH is a police officer or fireman and is killed or permanantly disabled in the line of duty through a criminal act, all of your children would receive fully paid college tuition, including books and housing, at the Catholic University of their choice - all they have to do is be accepted into the school. That's a free perk just for being a member of the Knights.

Re: Life Insurance

My union at work has some amazing plans for really good prices. Check with husbands job and see if they offer any deals through insurance companies.
