almost 38 week appointment
80% effaced and no dilation, shut tight...Thinks it could be from my previous cervical scarring and dilation might not happen as it should  ( praying this is not the case!)

aww i'm sorry  atleast your effaced, 80% is good, as for the dilation, i have heard of people going from 0-10 in a matter of days, so dont give up yet
as far as you wanting to go unmedicated for the labor, do what you feel is right for you and your DH, dont let the doctors get you down or tell you otherwise

Donna 80% effaced is excellent!! Now the dilation will come hopefully.
Tomorrow is my 39w+1d appt and I hope to have SOME progress -- IU had NONE at 38 weeks.
