Irritable

I am in my second trimester and I feel great! But I noticed I am irritable, my DH and my mom seem to get the brunt of it and get on my nerves. Anyone else go through this?

Things I used to let go, now bother me and I can't seem to let it go.

Yes, I can't stand my Mom this entire pregnancy...everything she says makes me so annoyed. It's totally normal to be feeling irritable!

Same here... DH keeps asking why are you snapping at me...... and then I realize... I have no idea why........

Yes, DH and my mother and MIL have been getting the brunt of my irritablness. Everyone else I have been really friendly and pleasant to, LOL

I was the QUEEN of irritable in my first tri...now its gotten much better.

Oh goodness, my poor DH, if he breathed too heavy it would irritate me!

I just kept apologizing and telling him and myself that ITS ME and it will go away. It is sad that the ones closest to you take the brunt of it, and it is sooo hard to control, trust me, I know!!!

I still get that way, mostly when I'm tired or hungry and I snap at DH for stupid reasons. As long as you are aware of your irritability you should be OK...but you should always apologize for it. It could be worse, I think it would be worse if you ignored your behavior!...at least you know its a problem and the best you can do is to let others know your trying to deal.

i have seemed to sway away from irritable and am just plain ol weepy - anythign at all can make me cry at a drop of the hat..

but remember its just the hormones and will pass

im sure your dh and mom understand!

yes...i definitely notice i'm more irritable sometimes...but then i feel bad afterwards if i think i might've been mean

i feel like i have been more irritable towards my mom too, more so b/c i know she knows i dont mean it and she still loves me anyway
