give it some time to work, it will take a little bit for the B6 to build up in your system. but to be honest, it didn't work for me either...

Sea bands worked for me but only if I wore them all day, including while I was sleeping.
Lemonade, hot water with a slice of lemon, and Lemondrops helped a little bit.
It's awful, and nothing is going to work 100%. Good luck and I hope it passes soon!

Why wouldnt they give you the Zofran? If your having trouble keeping fluids down, and throwing up 6 plus times a day?

i lost 10 pounds and i am 9 weeks....im going to see the dr later on...the pharmacist told my mom that its not that great for the babay but I find it hard to beleive, a lot of people take it....i mean im sure its not the best thing, but it cant be bad right??? well right now i was just able to eat 5 ice pops (flavor ice)...then a half of piece of pizza an hour later...now a juice...so time will tell, this is usually my "Good" time.....around 12

whats not good for the baby? Zofran?
I have been on it since week 12 and Im 38 weeks PG...If it wasnt good, I wouldnt risk it..It took me a LONG time to get PG.

i know, i dont agree but thats what the pharmcist said...i dont know, if the dr prescribes it I am taking it....i need some kind of relief...how long does it take to start working?

Im surprised regardless, its a class B drug, safer then an antibiotic that they all dole out so much these days....
Some Dr's wont unless theres a large weight loss though.

I guess every dr. is different.

If you can keep down some fluids and some small amount of food you will be fine....
I went days without eating, my baby weighs MORE then he should now...LOL
Just watch it...If you start to feel dehydrated or anything, its a fast spiral down and so you want to make sure that you can hold liquids down.

My doc told me to take a B6 and 1/2 a Unisom at night. I was worried but I gave in and it totally worked for me. I took it for several weeks.

I am on the prenatal with B6 and I often think it is not working, but when I stop my nausea gets even worse. If I skip a day, then that day is pretty bad and sometimes the next day is worse, even if I take it again that day. I wear Sea Bands all day. I use Preggie Pops and eat Lemon Ices. Nothing is wonderful but they all help just a little. 
ETA: I did not get Zofran because I was maintaining my weight. They just watched that. Also, I kept down water most of the time for some reason.

My doctor prescribed Zofran at about week 11 for me. I was dehydrated for about 2 weeks and THAT is why they gave it to me. Losing weight in the first trimester is not that bad, a lot of women do. I lost 13lbs int he first 13 weeks, but it was being dehydrated that concerned my doctor. I took it until the day before I had Christopher.In fact, I vomitted in the hospital the day I had him b/c I couldn't take it anymore.
There is also phegren, but it makes you sleepy. I took that when my insurance company wouldn't cover Zofran refills for a few more days.
Just try to stay hydrated, that is the most important thing, eat anything you can keep down even if it is "bad" and drink soda if it helps. All things I did and my son is VERY healthy. Good luck
