Another Internal Question- Basics!
As I posted before, I go for my first tomorrow. What should I expect? I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow.
I know they're measuring stuff, so is it similar to a GYN annual appointment. Or do they use a sono machine too, etc.? Thanks!!!

I remember a lot of people being scared for their fist internal - for me it was really not so bad!
My doc just felt  his way around, no probes or machines.

No probes... just fingers... they get ALL up in there and feel around. It's actually more uncomfortable than painful, IMO.

It wasn't painful for me....just a finger up there searching around! Not my favorite experience, of course, but it could be a lot worse!

had my first one just today and it wasn't bad at all. i think it was better than a pap but that's just me maybe...she basically just felt around for a few seconds and let me know that there wasn't anything major going on yet! it was over fast!
