had to go to L&D today...
but thankfully the baby is doing well!
it seemed to me that the baby wasnt really moving much since friday. i even tried drinking something sweet and lying on my left side for an hour to count the movements...i only counted 4 faint flutters so of course i panicked...usually he has been kicking me so hard and i was so scared bc he hadnt kicked for a few days!!
spoke to dr today and she asked me to go to L&D so they can put me on a fetal monitor....and of course after sitting there for about an hour he started kicking me like crazy...you have no idea how happy i was to feel those kicks! the sono also showed that everything was normal. PHEW!!!
the worst part though ---- there was a woman in labor in the room right next to mine. i am truly traumatized by what i heard. i cannot believe how much this woman was moaning...DH had to shut my door bc he said he felt so bad for her...NOW IM REALLY GETTING SO SCARED FOR LABOR!!!

Thankfully everything is okay with your little one!
I think maybe birthing rooms should be made sound-proof to not scare the mommies to be!

this happened to me last week. I had a dr appt on thurs and told them i hadnt been feeling movements as much. As soon as i got hooked up to the monitors he tapped around like crazy.
Its better to let them know and have them check, i felt so much better after i saw he was ok.
these kids, making us worry before they are even born

Really glad you started feeling those kicks...Don't be too frightened by her labor. She may have had a terrible threshold to pain and you don't know her circumstances....
