failed my 1 hr glucose!!
yikes!!! i cant believe i failed. well actually, i cant really say that. my grandfather has diabetes, so i tested my blood sugar with his machine last week and it was high so I kinda suspected I wouldnt pass...
and its not like i was on the border...i REALLY failed!!!
now i have to take the dreaded 3 hr test!!! my dr is on vaca and wont be back until monday so i didnt even have a chance to speak to her about it yet -- im curious to see what she has to say!

No biggy just more of an inconvenience and a pain in the tush than anything else...I know Im going to fail mine as Ive had GD in the past. I dont know why they even make me take the test!!!

It is not a real biggie to take the 3 hour more of a pain than a probem. If it makes you feel better I bombed my one hour - by a lot - they told me there was NO WAY I would pass my three hour. Well I took my three hour and had such great numbers they said they had no clue how I failed my one hour. So you just never know. Many people fail the one hour and pass the three.

well thats good to know. im so nervous i have it.
and since im still unsure, im so uneasy about everything i eat...i dont know what i should be eating/avoiding at this point?!

well thats good to know. im so nervous i have it.
and since im still unsure, im so uneasy about everything i eat...i dont know what i should be eating/avoiding at this point?!
I was told not to change my diet by my OB until I actually failed the 3hr and to just continue to eat a balanced diet.

oh no i am so sorry to hear that. iam surte you will pass the 3 hr. on this past weds i went to take my glucose test and THE LAB WAS CLOSED! i was so aggrevated. good luck on the 3hr.
