Level II
I'm scheduled for a level II at 16.5 wks and want to know the sex of my baby - do u think it is too soon? will I have another one afterwards?

They should be able to find out. I'm just  because I thought they usually do level II's at 20 weeks or a little after.
Is mine too late????? I'm getting mine at 20w5d

No I thought it was for a specific weekly timeline. All doc are different though.

I had mine at 17 weeks and we saw the sex just fine. I thought it was strange that they were doing it before 20 weeks (since that seemed like the magic number), but apparently my doctor offers it earlier (17-19 weeks) in case there are issues.

My office schedules them between 18-20 weeks, mine is set for Wednesday, I will be 18w 6d.

Each office is different. You should be able to find out when you go though.

there are some family history things that i think he wanted to check on so thats why he opted for earlier. just not sure if my baby's body will be developed enough to see the full pic...our appt is on the 23rd, so we'll see in a few weeks!!!

The organs are noticable after 12 weeks, so you should be fine.
Most offices schedule them for 18-20 weeks tho to get a good reading.

I found out the sex at 18 weeks, but they couldn't do the whole Level II b/c they said the baby was measuring small and wanted me to come back at 20-21 weeks, So today is my 2nd Level II.
So, they might do the same thing to you.
