Back from my amnio: UPDATED with results
I went for the amnio at 10am. The baby was moving too much so they did the sono & some additional sonos to check some other measurements. Finally the nugget calmed down & they did the amnio. It was so quick & I hardly felt anything. I watched it on the sono screen...it was a little creepy.
I am just waiting now for the results, which I can get either tonight or tomorrow morning, then the Dr will schedule the C-section from there.
So if I can get some "mature lung vibes" that would be great!

UPDATE:
Dr Dolisi just called & the nugget's lungs are not yet mature. It looks like the c-section will be next Wednesday, pending another amnio on Tuesday They will continue to do the amnio once a week until they get the result they want, then the c-section will follow.

Mature lung vibes Seriously, I hope everything is fine.
It's good to hear this wasn't painful. The procedure scares me, both for the damage it could possibly do and just the way it sounds. I haven't quite decided if I'm going for one yet or not.
Those are fast results! I was told about a week.

The genetic amnio profile takes about a week. This is just for lung maturity, so it is quicker 
I have felt a pinch worse when they take blood. It was so simple & took no time once the baby stopped moving..

Good Luck....Glad to know it was easy peasy..Im going to more than likely be doing about the same thing...Long Story...They are planning on checking maturity at about 36 weeks and then scheduling c section from there...Keep us posted.
