coughing-what can i take?
i've had this annoying cough for about 2 weeks now...I'm driving dh crazy!!
What can i take? I thought this was the ending of a cold that i had a few weeks ago, but its just lingering around

My dr. allowed me to take Robitusim (sp) DM because I had bronchitis but you should check with your dr. first.

i feel your pain. I am coughing all day and night.. I am going to call my OB and see what they say.. I have horrible allergies so maybe that is what you are suffering from also.. Feel Better

The pollen count has been horrendous- it might be allergies.

Double check with your OB. Mine wanted me to take any "regular" cough medicine - ie - plain robitussin or any plain store brand that doesn't have Guaifenesin in it

I had a VIOLENT cough in the beginning and I HAD to take something... Dr. said Robitussin was ok.
Every doctor is different though, so I would double check.

thank you all!! I have no medicine here, but i just had a cup of tea and i still have this annoying tickle that keeps making me cough.
I think i'll try a chloraseptic lozenge. I was able to take them when i had a sore throat, so maybe it will numb my throat enough so that i can fall asleep w/o coughing.

try tea with honey and sugar that helped me and it soothes the cough kinda like a ricolha.
feel better i am still coughing too if that helps you feel better
