So, I really wanted a girl and. . . . . .
it's a boy (womp womp).
Of course I'm happy that the baby is healthy & everything looked great but I was really looking foward to pink & white stuff. I guess I have a lot of planning to do now b/c I didn't even consider that I could be having a boy.

i have a feeling it'll be the same for me. dh has a son already so i was hoping to give him his little girl, but i think im having a boy. hopefully we'll see at my level 2 even though i'll only be 16.5 wks.
boys are cute too...i think girls are naturally inclined to want mini-mes

I dont know what I would do without my girls. I still love picking out their clothes and doind their hair etc...Looking so forward to having a boy though.

congrats on your baby !! Funny, I was thinking girl all the way, and kinda wanting girl too...but now that I know its a boy I think I'm much better off. Everyone tells me raising boys are easier! And it will be nice if we eventually have a girl, that she has an older brother. Also, my sister had her boy 6 mos ago and she wanted and was feeling a girl until she found out, and now, she tells me she is soooo happy she had a boy and if she were to have another, she'd also want it to be a boy. I also heard boys tend to be attached to their mommies more!!!

Let me just say - I was JUST like you - if you search thru all of my posts, every single one said I want a girl...
BUT - I am so head over heels in love with this boy - AND he has a TON of adorable clothing - I am having soooo much fun dressing him up. Yes, the girl's sections in stores have sooo much more stuff, but they have lots of great things for boys...
And wait until you look at that handsome boyish face - it is the best!
Congrats on your little boy!
ETA - believe it or not, I have already been thinking about our next child - and - get ready for this ladies - I'm thinking I would LOVE another boy!

Thanks everyone. I really am excited but I have no idea how to decorate the nursery or what names to consider.
And Lipglossjunky, I remember your post after you had the baby & how you said you were so in love with your boy after you thought you wanted a girl for so long.

Congrats! When that baby comes you will be embarassed that you even thought that you wanted a girl so badly!!!
I was desperate for a girl and I wouldn't trade my boy for anything ever!!!
