Do they tell you anything at an ultrascreen?
We have an appointment Wednesday morning. It isnt at my dr's (not sure if this is the normal or if my dr. just doesnt do it) and I am wondering if they will tell us if things look good or bad? Or do they just send the results to my dr.?

I have all my ultra screens at the hospital's office. When I had mine, they pulled us in to tell us their concerns. I"m sure if everything looked fine, they would've told us too.
(don't want to alarm you, so what they told us what they *thought* they saw what could be a cleft lip/palate but they couldn't get a good read b/c the umbilical cord was in front her her face. 2 they found cysts near her brain but that was "normal" in development. Other than that, growth was normal.)

The tech told us that the measurements looked normal.
same for me. and she had the dr come in and tell me everything was perfect. i had mine done at a place by winthrop.

thats what happened with us - the day of the ultrascreen they told us that the measurements appeared normal....
then we go back this afternoon -- exactly one week later to meet with a genetic counselor and get the other blood work results!

We went outside our dr office & they basically said they'd send results to dr, but all looked fine.

They told us that everything appeared normal. but that is all I will get from the ultrascreen because the baby's position was such that further evaluation was impossible. It kept moving round, but not into the position we needed.

They usually tell you at the Ultrascreen if the measurement is within the normal range or not...then in a couple of days your doctor will have the blood results.

So, bsically they will tell you even if your doctor isn't there?
Has anyone had this experience at North Shore? I'll be going there next week.
