How early did you come up with baby's name?

I'm 21 weeks and starting to want to narrow down names, but DH isn't into it yet.

Just wondering when everybody decided . . .

we have names now that we liked - and if the baby came tomorrow that would be them - however i am only 13 weeks and im sure i might change my names agian -- although we are pretty much set on a boy ( named after dh)

for a girls name though -- im afraid to get my hands on a name book -------- lol) so we will prob wait til teh level 2 and when we find out the sex to really get going on chosing a name!

we have ideas. but since we are not finding out, no decisions have been made. i am 13 weeks now and we started a few weeks ago.

If its a boy we picked it before he was conceived. If its a girl, we picked that during the first trimester.

I've had a name since I was younger, and DH liked it but wanted to make sure that's what we should go with. So I told him if he had any other ideas/thoughts, I was open to them, but after thinking for a few days, he said he really liked the name I liked.

Now boy names, that's another story...that thankfully we don't have to worry about with this one. He wants to name him after his brother (not a name I would name my baby no matter how much he insisted, I just don't like the name,and his brother is alive & healthy, thankfully, so it's not in memory of him, they're just really close)

We had a . I had loved the name Genevieve for years and for the first trimester I really thought that would be the name if we had a girl.

I think around week 25 or so we were looking through a baby name book and someone came across the name Ainsley. We both really liked it and put it on the list. By around my shower (34-35 weeks) it was between the two of them and by week 37 we both figured that Ainsley Catherine would be the name if we had a girl - had the baby at 38 weeks!

If we had had a boy we probably would have gone with Gavin - which we had only come up with around week 35 or 36.

I think men generally do these things later - at least my DH did.

We had a girl's name about 3 years before we even talked about trying. I found a name I loved and he agreed.

Our boy's name we had during the time we were trying....based on the place we had our honeymoon (where we agreed to wait one more year) and the place we vacationed when we conceived - the name was almost shouting out to us.

We have had our boys name forever....but the girls name took us a while...but by the end of the first trimester, we were set. Just still thinking of middle names, but it will come...

We changed our minds a lot during first trimester. In second trimester we pretty much settled it. We are going into the 3rd and are pretty sure we know what the name will be, though we could change our minds last minute.

Boys name we have. Girls name we are battling. I am 20 weeks

We have had a girl's name for about 4 months (I am 8 1/2 months)

A Boy's name on the other hand, we have a name of the week, but not sure that will stay until the baby is born.

We had a girl's name picked out years ago, but when we found out we were having a boy we had a tough time. Finally, we agreed on Tyler when I was 5 months preggo.

DH & I have been discussing names since we got engaged. At the rate we're going we will be lucky if we agree on something EVER!

My dh decided last week...we made a deal before I got pregnant that if it was a boy he got to name him..girl was mine...baby is a boy...He named him on his way home from the Level II.

We decided on names before we started trying to get pregnant.

We had a girl and a boy's name picked out so when we went to our Level II we had a name already chosen

19 weeks here and no name for my baby boy

We were pretty much between two names the entire time and I think we finalized Jack somewhere in the second trimester!

We have no ideas yet! I'm 10 weeks, and I don't even want to think about this until I'm safely in the 2nd trimester.

I had loved this name since Jr. high and said if I ever had a girl, this would be it.

When I got pg, I told DH and he loved the name. I was willing to compromise if he didn't. He came up with options for the middle name and we picked that together.

As for a boys name- we were going back and forth and then found out the sex. No need now, and no name was ever agreed upon. Maybe the 2nd one.

On our honeymoon but we've since changed the boy's name bc a friend used it.

And We are having a boy.

Girl- at 20 weeks, we had a few narrowed down.
