I LOVE the water but HATE sand. I'll deal but prefer pool.
As far as room view, def Ocean! Love to hear the waves crashing & read a book on the balcony.
same for me, except for the boat part

It honestly depends on my mood....but I think I like the ocean side a little bit better. It's so relaxing!!

we are not beach people... we always camp out at the pool when on vacay, so we can take a dip when we get too hot, are close to the bathroom and can eat or drink a little easier... And, I hate sand getting in all my sh!t.

But I found on my honeymoon going to the pool was more convienent, so we would do that.
But I can easily spend 8+ hours on the beach.

Ocean - I like the sound. Pool side can be noisy and not very relaxing IMO.
I agree, but it depends on where you live. I love the ocean though, so relaxing!

Siesta key is one of the top beaches in the US and only 30 min from my house I love going to the beach. The sand is like powder and the water is so blue. It's very calming. I love siesta.
But when traveling and at a resort I'll take poolside.
Overall I love both beach and pool
