Am I the only one who dosent like to drink?

I pretty much hate all alcohol...

I mean- I like some fruity frozen drinks- but I always tell them light on the liquor...

I hate beer, liquor, wine (although I want to like wine so bad...lol)

Everyone always wants to go get a drink- and yet to me a treat would be having a regular coke instead of a diet coke... (I know, Im such a geek)

When I do have a drink- I do like how relaxed I feel- but there is just something about the taste- bleh...

Am I really the only one out there?

I am not crazy about the taste of alcohol. I only drink fruity drinks, and don't like them if the alcohol overwhelms the fruitiness.

I don't like wine or beer either, though like you I try to like wine.

Good to know I am not the only one.

The only thing I do drink is wine. SOMETIMES, on rare occassions, I will drink hard liquor in a mixed drink, but that is maybe two times a year.
I do like, wine, but I don't always have it in the house. So maybe I have wine 2 weekends a month. I've never been a drinker.

I'm with you!!!

Not much of a drinker. Mostly fruity ones, and then never more than 1. Only had a sip of champagne at our wedding.

When DH and I were first dating, I told him I was a "cheap date" since I didn't drink.

good for you Marissa, it is empty calories and such a bad habit, my hubby and love the taste of alchol too much, we keep it under control, but I can see how it can get out of control if you like the taste/the effect (our Irish side definitely shines through when the whiskey comes out ) .

nope! i'm with you 100%!!!! i only like fruity flavored drinks, never liked beer or wine. i just dont like the flavor of alcohol.

all my friends think i'm nuts.

I HATE Beeer, have always hated hated hated it. yuck.

I love mixed fruity drinks too
but hard liquor, bleh, also.

I only really started liking wine about a year and a half ago when we moved down the road from a winery.

And I only started driking regularly when I started teaching

This is totally me- and I thought i was the only one. I prefer mixed drinks virgin and I don't like wine, alcohol, or anything else.... glad to hear I'm not alone!@

Not a big drinker at alll. Mainly because I don't like the effect.

I never drink. Wine gives me severe migraines, and I really don't like the taste of beers. Although I do like Mike's Hard Lemondae drinks and drozen daiquiris and margarita's. It's rare that I have them though. We keep no alcohol in the house, except a few staples in case we have company.

I am definitly not a beer person. I like having Mikes or a Smirnoffs if I am at a BBQ. The occasional martini maybe. I am definitly not into hard liquor.

Glad to see Im not alone... Everytime we go out with a group of friends- everyone reems into me-

But its not because Im a goody-goody- I plain ol dont like it!

Im also a big stickler for making sure I have a safe ride home- I know Im not drinking and how I feel- so I like to drive

Personally I love to drink. All kinds of liquors too....I can go from a Vodka to a cognac to a cordial without blinking an eye. I am not one of those drinkers, however, that feel to need to *bully* others into drinking with me. I know it is not for everyone, and not everyone enjoys it like I do.

I also do not wake up the next day feeling badly, nor do I get *wasted* or lose control.

I'm with you too, Mariss!

On my "girls nights" out (Maybe once a month) I'll have a couple of drinks, but that's it for me. I hate wine, beer, most alcohol. When I drink it's usually rum & Coke, or something sweet like Amaretto Sour.

I never liked beer and can't drink it. Can't stand the smell or taste.

I will dring wine once in a while (well before I was PG). Otherwise I will drink fruity drink with very little alcohol. I never had Gin, whisky, etc.... I tried "1 drop" once and thought my tongue was being burned with alcohol.

I don't tolerate much alcohol anyway so it has to be in very small quantities and mixed with something else. Unless it's wine.

I have a friend who doesn't like to drink, unless she can't taste the alcohol. My mom doesn't like to drink either.

I love wine and I like beer and a few mixed drinks, but I can't drink anything where I can really taste the liquor.
