Am I being overly sensitive - re: DH
I can sit and feel this baby move around all day long (and that's pretty much all I do LOL)
I just feel like I try to get DH to come over and feel the movements, or the kicks, or the hiccups and he will come over for about 10 seconds and then walk away.
I just feel like he isn't loving this as much as I am.
Am I being way to overly sensitive? I mean I don't expect him to feel it all night long - but give me more then 10 seconds tops.
Tell me I'm crazy!

mine is the same way and I even think he is more excited then me about the baby but as far as movements, he will put his hand on my belly and if he doesnt feel something in 2.2 seconds, boom hes gone.
I will get him to try to "watch" my stomach and he will look away RIGHT when Noah moves and I will say " Just keep looking"...And he cant, he gets too impatient.
I think its a man thing.

Give him the benefit of the doubt. It doesn't feel nearly as cool from the outside as it does for you feeling all the movement inside... and it probably is a bit freaky for him to think about!

No I'd feel the same, I would want Dh to be really excited about it...I guess its just different for them.
DH can't feel any movement yet on me, but every time I tell him I feel something he doesn't get overly excited...and its still pretty new that I can feel the baby. I get excited!
My mom told me yesterday that my Dad didn't like feeling the baby move at all while she was pregnant...I found that so hard to believe. I guess everyones different!!

My DH was/is the same way. It kind of boggled my mind like, "How can you NOT want to feel this baby all day long?!"
I did ask him about it a couple of months ago and he said playing with the "real live" baby running around the house is a lot more fun than feeling a fetus on the inside. I thought that was kind of sweet, but didn't really make me understand him any better!

My DH is definitely excited over the baby...He will keep his hand on my belly if we are lying in bed bud if he has to come over and feel him move he lasts about 10 seconds...Then again my DH has the attention span of a flea so I just let it go.

Chris was the same way both times. He will feel it kick once or twice and that is enough for a few weeks. I don't take it personally though. I think it is different for mothers because you feel everything starting from the inside out.
I am sure he is just as eager to meet Jack as you are

My DH says it is like watching grass grow -- which he refuses to do.
WHen he has felt something he thought it was cool, then went back to doing whatever. So I feel your pain....

dont worry my  is so active so DH can see it, but a lot of times when he goes to feel him, the little guy stops moving, its almost funny, so yes i have to tell DH, give him time, leave your hand there, b/c he will also take his hand off after 10-20 sec, when he does feel the baby he leaves his hand there a while, its just when the baby doesnt cooperate

Glad to hear I'm not the only one! It never really bothered me before last night when Jack had the hiccups. I know I'm being overly sensitive and I know that he will be a great dad I just wish he would care about it for more than 5 seconds. Oh well!
