This registry is killing me

OK- so I have been registering for a while now. It has been really hard for my husband and I to agree on patterns(pack n play, swing, high chair and a strolle)r. We finally registered but had to go to two different places. The problem I am having is that the things I LOVED are available online only. Should I be worried about this? I did start to spread the word to my family. This is freakin me out. I don't want to register for something just cause it is in the stores and I'm not crazy about it. I did a lot of research and looked all over.

I would stick with what you like. If you have been spreading the word, then people have plenty of time to order online to bring to your shower or send to you.

This is a tough call. Are a lot of your people internet-savy, and willing to pay shipping? I know a lot of my people aren't...so I would definitely spread the word to those who would order online.

That was my concern- shipping. BUT at the moment(I'm not sure when it stops or if it stops) there is free shipping from both places. I'm lucky to have a family and friends that are internet friendly peopel and if they aren't (like my mom) they have someone to help them. Should something be said in my shower invites? I really LOVe what I registered for.

I don't think you can really say anything in your invites. I'm shocked that most of it is available online and not in the stores, I have found a much bigger selection in the stores.

You can always return whatever people get you and then order what you want - in case people choose to go to the stores and not online.

Re: This registry is killing me

I had this problem w/ BRU. TONS of stuff is on-line only & since people wait until the last minute to shop I got a lot of GCs. They also did not like the extra cost of shipping......

I was also registered at BBB.
