Stopped Sleeping Through The Night!??!
My 5mo used to be the best little sleeper- he started sleeping thourhg the night at 8 weeks (from 10 or 11 to 8am). For the past 2 weeks, he has been waking up all throughout the night crying and wanting to eat at times- waking every hour to every 3 hours. I am positively exhausted, esp. with working full time. Did this happen to anyone else and does anyone else have any words of wisdom?? We used to swaddle him and he loved it but he broke out of the swaddle way too many times during the night- even the miracle blanket- so I figured he was done with it esp. b/c it is a hazard when loose in the crib with him.

Molly (6months) has woken up the last two nights at 5am screaming from hunger. Maybe it is a growth spiurt. I feed her and then put her back to bed.

But he is only eating half a bottle when he wakes up at night so I don't think it is a growth spurt. Anyone else experience this?

samantha did this at 6 mos and was just waking herself up and didn't know how to put herself back anymore...so she would cry...since your dc isn't drinking it all - it could be the same....we did cio and by the 2nd night, she was sleeping perfect again!

DD did the same thing.
She was an excellent sleeper 8 - 8 since 6 weeks old. One day it just stopped. She gets up and wants to eat. Sometimes a few ounces others she's starving and will put down 7 oz in minutes.
She is still swaddled in the miracle blanket, but is also able to get out now. I still use it because its the ONLY way to get her to fall asleep. She can't sleep on her back without being swaddled because her arms flail everywhere and wake her up. So once she gets out and wakes up I usually put her back down on her belly (she can roll belly to back.)
Anyway I started giving her cereal close to bedtime and its been working. She's been sleeping until somewhere between 5 - 7am. Still not my 12 hours sleeper, but I'll take it.

I know how you feel....
Is he teething? DS slept through the night from about 2 weeks old until 4 months old. Then he started getting up 3 to 4 times a night. He would never really wake up but he would fuss and I would give him the pacifier and put the music on and he would go right back. He just started sleeping through the night again this week and he is just about 7 months. The doctor said its from teething. Hang in there.

This happened to me. It was because he was/is teething. Once the first two teeth cut through he is now finnaly back to sleeping better.
