TMI but have to ask
when u were first preg, i.e. 11 wks - did it hurt to have s e x? I don't mean internally hurt, but outer region of our female parts. I don't know what's going on, my doc said sometimes we get swollen w/preg, but it doesn't make s ex pleasurable and i feel bad for my husband so i deal with the pain. none of my preg friends ever experienced this so i'm asking my huge circle of preg ladies out here to help me out. thanks
but is this normal? does it go away? if it goes away, when can i expects some good stuff?

I am petrified myself. We weren't allowed for at least 12-13 weeks b/c off the placenta previa. Now that we have the green light I am still scared. DH swears he's not scared but hasn't been pressing the issue @ all. I spoke to my OB/gyn who was like- if you are scared there are plenty of other things you can do. I was like I know that

Re: TMI but have to ask
I did have se x during 1st Trimester. only one time was it painful. Painful to the point I cried. I felt like an idiot, but I just felt bad that hubby and I hadn't had that kind of fun for a while, and I tried to grin and bear it, thinking I'd eventually get into it. Anyway, we stopped, poor guy, I really felt bad. Then about a week later I was feeling really frisky, and was totally into it, and it was perfectly GREAT!
I htink there is definitely a physical aspect to it (it def. hurt), but I think frame of mind is important too, I think I was also scared of harming baby, so I could not loosen up.
