I almost lost it today...
Someone, NOT SO TACKFUL, told me today at lunch out loud outside out building (mind you there were SEVERAL people leaving the building!!  ).
"WOW Sophie... Your ankles are SOOOOO swollen"
Me: (Trying not to lose it!!!)
"Geez.. thank you for reminding me... I had almost forgotten!!"

Had the same thing happen to me on Friday.
I was wearing a dress and I was walking down the hall and my coworker screams:
"Oh my GOD, look at your poor swollen feet!"
And people started popping their heads out of their cubicles like gophers.
Then I have a peanut gallery of people telling me I shouldn't be in work anymore and oh my god, don't they hurt - they are so red, etc, etc.
Thing is, I didn't think they looked THAT bad and they felt fine. But I hid behind my desk the rest of the day.

I have a line ready to say back is this happens to me. I'll sweetly say, "Thank you for making an uncomfortable condition even more uncomfortable."
I'm hoping that will stop people. My coworkers have almost no tact as it is so I'm trying to be ready for it.
Today someone said "OMG you look huge" I'm 22 weeks and have only just popped, I'm not that big.

Ignore them! As long as you feel good, forget them!!!! When I hear comments like this, I'd love to see what these people did/would look like pregnant...I'm guessing not too many looked like supermodels 24/7!! We should remind them of that!
I had someone say to me today "Aw, you're getting so chubby", but in the next sentence, say that "you're all belly". So yes, I am getting large in the belly, but that's it. It was a a very sweet older lady, and I think that was accepted back in their days!

The thing is... I am totally uncomfortable. I am carrying very low with add so much pressure. All I need is someone to remind me of my swollen ankles.
That's how I feel right now:
Yes... bio*ch. They are swollen, I feel like sh*t, I have9 wks to go.
BUT I will try to remain professional EVEN if they don't.
