Just so bummed...UPDATE...2nd UPDATE
I feel like we can't catch a break lately.
This week was horrible, I feel horrible everyday and I want to have this baby, my body is DONE. I get fired (which I know is for the best, but it is hard to wrap my mind around) and we have to move.
We found a place we LOVE and the landlord loved us and told us it was ours (we found it on craigslist, but he had had a broker) and he asked the broker to do the lease and she is insisting on speaking to our last landlord and we really don't feel comfortable having her do that.
We are just so sad that we possibly won't get this place because of THESE landlords!
I just want to have this baby and have someplace to live....is that too hard??
UPDATE 4/23:
So it LOOKS like we are signing the lease at 5pm tonight. Please send me happy lease signing vibes. If we get this house, things will get a lot easier.
And girls, thank you. I know I am the biggest whiner and you all are so lovely
UPDATE 4/24:
We didn't get the house. The broker decided since she couldn't reach our prior landlords that the landlord shouldn't rent to us. I've never even HEARD of that Back to the drawing board....

I too am having a hard time w/ things and it hit me last night. Total meltdown. I'm sorry you're going through the same thing. It's not to much to ask!!! It will all work out and you'll be so happy! I just know it.

i would think if your current landlord wants you to move out he must know that is less likely to happen if he makes it hard for you to find a new place to live ?
