Weigh In Info
I went to the doctor earlier..just a quick cervic check..everythings fine...
The nurse weighed me as part of SOP and I was happy to see that I hadnt gained any weight in the past 2 weeks...in fact I had lost a half a pound...
SOOOOOOO to my horror!!! I looked on the chart to see that she had put down that I had GAINED 3 lbs!!!!! She not only rounded up BUT she didnt take off the standard 3 pounds for clothes! AND I was wearing Jeans, a t-shirt, and a hoody!!!!Now all the other nurses have been taking off 3 lbs for clothes and this one didnt!
I felt the need to point out to you...my internet buddies...Dont turn away from that scale..fight for every pound!!! Can you imagine had I gained a couple of pounds and then she didnt take off for clothes I would of thought that I gained 5 lbs in 2 weeks!!!!

My dr.'s office never takes off for clothing and they also weigh me with my shoes (almost always my clunky heeled boots) on.

I dont mind the flip flops but over the winter I went in there with boots on!!!!! They weighed a pound a piece for goodness sake!!!
I will not step on that scale with shoes on!

I don't think they ever take off pounds for clothing - and I usually don't take off my shoes - because they are always so hard to get back on.

mine also doesnt take off any weight for clothes, i do get weighed without my shoes on but she doesnt deduct for the rest of my clothes, oh well, big deal

Mine neither. But I do take off my shoes off and I wear light clothing (no sweaters or jeans).

At my dr office, it always changed, I guess the scales in the different rooms aren't all the same.
However, the person who always weighed me knows how much each scale is off and goes accordingly

I take my shoes off but that's my own thing, the nurse never told me to do that.
She also does not take weight off for clothes. However, as long as they're consistently weighing you w/ clothes, there shouldn't be any big difference!
