would you go to a bridal shower
the sunday before you give birth........ this is what i am thinking about now.....
i am in my cousins wedding and her shower is this sunday at 3-7 in elmont, which is 45 minues from me.... i don't know if i want to go or just send my gift with my mom...........
would you girls go, i mean i might be having this baby on monday morning depending on the day they can get the O.R. for me... we find out Friday

Yep- I walked the mall, went shopping down in sayville, went out to a nice dinner all the day before I had DS!
Geez I walked around the city in inner harbor MD 2 weeks before!!!
Aside from being itchy I felt great- I didnt let anything stop me!
As long as you feel good GO! Have some yummy food and enjoy your time with friends and other adults!

sure why not . It will be nice to get out. I dragged my son to birthday parties the entire weekend before Sara was born. People wereasking when I was due and I was like I am giving birth in 3 days. I just sat thats all

I say go for it. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding 4 days before my scheduled c-section and the wedding was over an hour from my house and it didn't end until after midnight!
If you feel well, go and enjoy yourself.

yea..go...makes time go by and you may enjoy yourself.
Im in same postion...a christening this Sun....my anniversary on due date and then the following weekend a baby shower.

Well, I would go, as long as you've got everything set for baby (if you get scheduled for delivery on Monday or Tuesday). Also, can you ride with your mom or another family member? I would. You would probably be more comfy than driving.

It would depend on how you feel. I would tell them though that there is a possibilty you could not make it.

I'd go and enjoy myself. I had dd on a tuesday and the three days before i was out socializing, out to dinner, out to breakfast, running errands.
Have fun! You'll prob get more attention than the guest of honor

Yes - the weekend before I gave birth - I went to my stepsister's bat mitzvah, and then that Monday went to a seder... I was tired and not that comfortable, but it was totally fine - at the shower, you can just park yourself on the couch - no need to mingle - everyone will come to you!

thanks girls........... i just was speaking to my mom and she said if i get uncomfy we will just leave early, i hate that it is so late in the day but she said i have an excuse and when i am ready to leave we can!!!
