Ok I now they say between 15-20 Weeks you would feel them I am at 16weeks and have felt NOTHING
WHat have you ladies done to keep yourselves at easy and not worry about not feeling the baby yet?
I think there is something wrong because I have not felt the flutters yet but know its normal not to...and I am sure that if there was something wrong my body would let me in some way Just need some reassurance that all is OK :)

I felt nothing till late 18 , early 19 weeks. Not ONE flutter till then.

Mine started with some heavy kicking....

Its normal ...Actually I hear more stories of women feeling it at closer to 20 weeks.

What happens to is its SOOOO light and gentle at first you coudl be walking around and TOTALLY miss it.

No worries

If you're truly concerned, you can call your doctor, but they do say its ok not to feel anything until around 20 weeks. Try not to stress yourself out, its not good for the baby. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: flutters

I didn't feel flutters until 19 weeks, and it was so light I don't think I would have noticed it except I was home sick in bed for 3 days, and pretty motionless. I don't think I would have noticed them had I been moving around at my normal rate. But once I felt the first ones, I knew what to look for, but again, they were fairly light. Even now, at 29 weeks, I feel lots of movement, but still haven't gotten a sharp kick in the ribs or the bladder that a lot of ladies talk about (I'm thankful for that!).

It's normal to stress. In the next few weeks, just try to concentrate on it when you're laying down, before you fall asleep, and maybe even after some sweets too, that always helps.

But you'll feel them...eventually! Chat Icon

Re: flutters

I THOUGHT I may have felt *something* at around 20 weeks. By 21 weeks- I was definitely feeling flutters. I absolutley was feeling nothing at 16 weeks- so try not to worry...

Even now at 30 weeks, I only feel her rolling around and a few jabs, but no big kicks.

Re: flutters

I actually just posted this morning that I "think" I felt some flutters this morning while I was still laying in bed! I am 19 weeks and this is the first time I have even thought I have felt anything.

I was at the doctor last Wednesday and actually asked her to make sure the baby was still there because I haven't felt anything! It is!!!

I wouldn't worry, but if you are too concerned you can call your doctor!

(now I just want to lay still in bed and try to recreate the feeling I had this morning!)

Re: flutters

My Dr. said that depending on where the placenta is, it may take longer to feel them...he said that if the placenta is anterior (on the front part of your uterus, your belly side) it might take longer.

My girlfriend is 21 1/2 weeks and she still hasn't felt anything either...I wouldn't worry just yet!!
