Maclaren Question
What makes these strollers so good? I would like to know all of the features before I spend $175 on an umbrella stroller. I want one, but can't decide if I want to spend that much.

Re: Maclaren Question
Great handles, lightweight, easy to fold, folds up small, handles great.

Re: Maclaren Question
They are good quality and really strong. The seat is luxurious and soft (the padding is nice) they fold up easily and last for ages (so my friends tell me) They are just really good quality.
I do think with prams and strollers you do get what you pay for!

Re: Maclaren Question
My thing is that when I saw one up close and tried it out, I was surprised at how shoddy it looked for such an expensive umbrella stroller. I don't mind spending the money as long as it's worth it.
Do they all only have the 2 position recline? I don't think I like that.

They don't all have the recline, but I think its great! I took it with me to Florida, left the Bugaboo at home and the kid napped in it everyday! It was great! My friend has one without a recline and she totally wishes she had bought one with recline.
Go on, splurge! You deserve the very best!

Always the voice of reason. Too bad it's hurting my pockets
I meant that I'm not sure I like that it only has 2 position recline. Some have 5.
But, you're absolutely right! Stevie and I deserve the very best and since the new 2007 Triumph comes in a BEAUTIFUL chocolate brown color, which is my absolute FAVE color, I think I'll get it.

I have that one too and DD has no problems in it. I figure it was so much cheaper than the Maclaren I can buy another one for when I have a 2nd baby. For what I use it for I could not justify spending so much $$ on an umbrella stroller.

That is what I thought too.
