spinoff - taxes and homeowners
I was reading the other thread and it said that we can claim mortgage interest and property taxes. What paperwork do we have to take to the accountant with us in order to do this?
TIA! I'm totally clueless about this!

i think its a 1099 form that is sent you from your lender.

i think its a 1098 form that is sent you from your lender.
it's been a few years since i've prepared taxes, but i think this is it.
call your lender if you feel you didn't get it or misplaced it

sorry i think i got it wrong...1098 is education, 1099 is for interest.
