Re: Spotting

How are things going for you this morning, I would call your dr now and say I am worried I am having another m/c or chemical and I want blood done TODAY and then again on maybe Wednesday. I have to get blood done every 2 weeks due to a partial molar pregnancy and I get my hcg levels back in 24 hours. Good luck...Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Spotting

Good morning..
..I had to take off from work because I have so many thoughts in my head and I really want to get to the doctors. I called this morning and they said "we don't take anyone before 7 weeks. We'll see what we can do and call you back." Well I don't see how they won't take you even if something may be wrong!!!!
I have had no spotting since yesterday; however, that stupid digital killed my hopes when it flashed "not pregnant". I know it was middle of the day urine, but I think at 5 weeks that shouldn't have mattered. What a rollercoaster ride! I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the prayers!

Do they know your history with chemicals??? I would call back and insist on some blood work. If they wait too long they may not document the chemical. They are not taking this as seriously as they should. If this is happening again (which it probably is NOT but still) then maybe you need to see a specialist and you have every right to know what's going on. It's not like this is the first time. If you want to call a different office too see what they would say call Personal Women's Care in Smithtown, Dr. Halpert is awesome and soooooo caring!!!! I had a similar issue before being diagnosed with a partial molar and my doctor was making me wait weeks for test results and Dr. H insisted that I come in and begin my blood screening to make sure the D&C was successful and I was not having complications (molar pregnancies are a little risky). Needless to say I switched doctors and could not be happier with my choice.

ITA, and if they are not willing to accomodate I think you need to find another practice.Chat Icon
