Costco Vs. BJ's
My BJ's membership has expired. Now I live slightly closer to Costco. Which do you prefer and why? I am debating where to join.

i prefer BJs but my mom always says that she thinks the customer service in Costco is better in BJs.

I prefer BJ's b/c IMO, the prices are better on stuff we buy. and also, they accept coupons, Cosco does not.

I actually have a membership to both.
Costco has better meat and fish, and certain brands that we like, but overall we like BJ's better and shop there much more frequently. We only go to Costco for specific things.
Maybe you can get a one day pass to try out Costco befoere you make your decision?

I like BJs better because they take coupons and the one in Farmingdale is by my job and they have discounts on gas.

I like Costco better. Is there some kind of trial membership you can get? Ask them if you can walk around and see if that helps you decide.

Yeah, it would still be that BJ's...I only like about 5 minutes away from Nob Hill now. It is always packed!

That's what I hate about it. I like the Costco near Smithaven much better.

I like them both... but we just joined Bj's thank's to my mom who got dh a giftcard for $50 so we used it to be member's even though it is Dh's gift i ended up being the primary holder because i will be doing most of the shopping. and we like bj's better so far.

I used to like Costco better, but now that I have a child I prefer BJS. They have more formula, diapers, wipes, baby food, etc.

I have memberships to BOTH. What I don't find in BJ's (which is closer to my house), I will definitely find in COSTCO (which is 15 minutes away from my house).
I like both!!!
