Hemroids
What a gross topic huh!!! I have one and it hurts so much  Anyone else get them yet?

yup, got em! the one piece of advice i can give is don't let yourself get constipated! i've started taking colace every couple days as a stool softener, and have added fiber to my diet, and they've gotten a bit better. but they still S U K!!!!

I got them after I delivered! It was almost worse than labor for me!
The hospital gave me a spray, cream, those pads and nothing helped.
Try taking a warm sitz bath. That seemed to help a little.

Yep. I already had an outpatient surgery 4 wks ago.
I just avoided another surgery this week because I caught it early.
NOT FUN!!!
Nothing you can do. It's because you have more blood, pressure of the baby down there. AND it will get worst.
Remedies to "help" prevent:
- Lots of water
- Colace
- Do not strain
- Eat lots of fiber
Once it is there:
- Tucks pad
- Preparation H or go see a surgeon. They have a prescription strength cream that is more better.
- Sitz bath (warm water in a shallow bath). Do it for 10-20 minutes. 2 times a day
- Clean area very well after each bowel movement.

okay, I had a terrible issue w/ these when I was preggo. Best advice my ob gave me - refrigerate milk of magnesia and apply w/ cotton ball. It cools, shrinks and takes away the pain! Good luck,.... it's worth it in the end!

Great advice! Mine has been reoccurring since I shattered my ankle several years ago. But most of the time it never gives me any trouble. Last week however I couldn't walk or even sleep because of it
My doctor said while pg - do not use the suppositories - follow the advice above and you should be okay

I have a pre-existing roid, and he has already shown up. I call him Herman. 
Since I have been preggers my bowel movements have been harder...lets just put it that way. My doctor told me to drink more water and eat lots of fiber....dried fruits, raisin bran.....
She did say I could use suppositories. That's the only thing that helps me.
