1/2 baths - please post pics!!
We are in the process of redoing our 1/2 half and we are having some design issues b/c the bathroom is really really tiny. We desperately wanted to get a small vanity so that we could store stuff like cleaning supplies and toilet paper, but it is looking more like we will have to get a pedestal sink...
Please share pics of your 1/2 baths.
Where do you store basic stuff like toilet cleaner and stuff? I hate to be running around the house with some fantastic b/c there is no room to store it! UGH - small spaces!

Re: 1/2 baths - please post pics!!
We had the same delimma. Someone posted the same question a few months ago and I said, BINGO, I think I have the smallest half bath in the world!! The original had a 22" sink but it overpowered the space and came too close to the toilet. We really needed an 18" max. We also didn't have a lot of depth to play with.
While we were redoing the entire house this bath actually gave us the most problems. It's only 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 feet. If you see the pics below, each floor tile is 12" by 12".
I really did not want a pedestal sink either for the reasons you posted. If I had a closet right outside the door, or the bath was big enough for a shelving unit, then maybe but it's not.
Getting a vanity was the biggest design challenge in the entire house (and I gutted half of my house) and I thought we were going to have to go custom which is a lot more money than I wanted to spend on such a tiny bath.
At the last possible moment my FIL saw the sink and cabinet (sold together) for $89. at Home Depot... SOLD!!! I am not a fan of oak but I had no choice... $89. for oak or several hundred dollars for almost the exact same thing but a darker finish.
The toilet had to be a round bowl because an oval bowl would have not fit into the space. There was no room for expansion of the space.

Ours is tiny too...and we have a pedestal sink. It's right next to our kitchen, so I keep all the cleaning supplies there.

This isn't a half bath but it's a small bathroom so you might get some ideas! Image Attachment(s):
