Re: Anyone skipping Lamaze?
We just decided to skip it - but we will probably watch a video at home which is cheaper and better for our schedule but still gives you the info you need.
We are taking breastfeeding and baby cares classes instead

Re: Anyone skipping Lamaze?
I took it 7 years ago when pg with DD, DH and I agreed to watch a video at home this time. I dont think i used the techniques much while i was in labor.

Re: Anyone skipping Lamaze?
i agree. ok. i shouldn't really say cuz i had a c-section. had it been a reg birth maybe i would have used what was taught to me. but when i went in, i asked the nurse about the breathing thing (i was suppose to be induced) and she said all the nurses will be able to tell me when to start breathing, how fast, slow, etx. and that most women forget what we learned in class. so save your money. or rent / buy one of those breathing tapes.
