Re: DIY upholstered headboard
Definitely do some more research- it's a little harder to make a headboar that has a place to lock handcuffs.

Re: DIY upholstered headboard
For sure- make sure it's extra padded, to muffle the noise.

Re: DIY upholstered headboard
My mother made one and it was very easy. Just make sure you have a staple gun and plenty of batting so that it is nice and soft and the edges dont look too pointy.

I got my instructions from: thehappyhomemakingdominatrix.com - so they are pretty good.
I'm LMAO at you guys. To the OP I think they know each other

go to home board on thenest.com - a bunch of girls have done it there and have directions in their bios.

Re: DIY upholstered headboard
I did before but no pics.
The hardest part was making sure the tension (before stapling) was even with the padding underneath. Otherwise it kind of looks bumpy.
Also make sure the fabric is straight. It can shift a bit.

thanks!
I actually am using these directions - I just wanted to see if any of you gals had some pics, etc to share.
I am gong to do mine next month.
those seem like easy enough instructions. i do have a question... what if you wanted the bed in a corner? would you need different mounting brackets? has anyone done that?
