Omg- I am so annoyed! Updated!
I'm at work- and they have been doing renovations on the conference room that is literally 5 steps from my office. It hasnt been that big of a deal yet- because they have been doing most of the work at night.
However- they just started to paint!!! I wouldnt mind so much- but there is nooooooo ventilation! The windows dont open- and we are very far from a door! 
Updated: I ended up leaving almost right after I posted this. I just got so mad at how inconsiderate this was. Especially since someone kind of suggested to me that my boss might have forced the people who were painting to paint then- and not wait until night time when everyone was gone. And yes, she knows that I'm PG- and my office is literally right by the conference room!
I feel like writing a letter/email to HR complaining about this. DH is furious- and wants me to either write an email to HR or call the BOH. What do you guys think?

Do people at your job know that you are PG? Does your boss know? Because you really should not be there if there is no ventilation. Any way you can cut out early today?

Yep! My boss knows!!! Everyone in my office knows. I work for a fairly big company- so I'm sure not everyone in the whole building knows- but still!

Yep- the room is a decent size- so not only are they going to be here for awhile, but its going to smell for a while!

ITA. Seriously you cannot be around the fumes. They need to either let you work elsewhere or pay you to stay home

Trinity... seriously, you should not be there if there is no ventilation. Go tell your boss that you are feeling lightheaded because of all the paint fumes, and that you are going home.... that you will see them tomorrow.

Oh sweetie... no one is trying to scare you. Its just that paint fumes are not good for you in a place that has no ventilation when you are NOT pregnant... and even worse when you are because whatever you are inhaling and whatever chemicals are in the air are affecting someone else. Nothing bad is going to happen to you or your baby.
Just go in, say, "Listen, I am not supposed to be near paint fumes in a place thats VENTILATED, I cannot even breathe in here and am not feeling well. I am going home. See you tomorrow!"
They cannot fire you, and if they protest, then just tell them that you will have your doctor write them a note explaining that you cannot be there if they are painting.

BTW, I don't think that one day of fumes will have any negative affects, but they really should have told you & given you the option whether or not you wanted to be there or not.

Liz you should really go home, we had a bad smell here when that gas smell was all over the city, right after my boss found out and i moved to a different place in the office so i didn't smell it as much

FYI - My Dad used to smoke in his office and someone called the department of health on him/his business and the DOH kept it anonymous so he never found out who called....he was forced to stop smoking in the building (good for that employee!)...but just so you know, you can report this if you wanted to!!
