OMG!!!! I cannot even imagine.
My husband is a cop and I get a giggle out of the thought of him responding to this type of call. I think he would pass out.....

This was one of my big fears since I live in Suffolk but will be delivering at NSUH Manhasset.
DH's family jokes that George, my contractor, retired SCPD and lives close by, will deliver the babies I get along with George very well but I don't want him to know me that well
You never know, every labor is different.

Yikes! We have an almost hour drive to the hospital, now I'm scared that I'll have the baby in the car. I guess I'll keep a list of hospitals on the way in my wallet.

I had a friends who had a friend that delivered in the bath tub... without any help her Dh had to tie the cord with a shoelace...

This is one of my biggest fears!..I go really quickly...longest was 3 hrs 45 minutes and the shortest was the twins at a little over 2 hours...I live a good 1/2 from the hospital and that WITHOUT traffic..hmmm maybe I should switch doctors and find someone to deliver closer to home..
