I think my sonogram went well today
I am 5 weeks and 4 or 5 days. Not a whole lot to see just yet. The big concern was whether the pregnancy implanted in my uterus. Well, it appears that it did.  So this is not an ectopic pregnancy. We saw the gestational sac and some signs of some sort of structure in there. My doctor is not concerned about not having seen more in the sac. He said that next week is when he gets concerned. Next week, he should be able to make out a fetus and he will be concerned if he cannot. The small sign that there is something within the sac gives hope. The major issue going in today was whether the pregnancy is in my uterus. We overcame that hurdle.
Time is moving so slowly. I want to be at a point where I can tell people and where I am a li'l safer. Something can go wrong at any time but I feel like I will relax a little bit more after about 12 weeks.

Thanks!!! I know that a lot of people here have reached out to me but there are some who seem to only talk to the people that they got to know months before I was here. Maybe they just don't have a lot of time for everyone.

Sounds a lot like my experience...1st nothing, then the sack, then heartbeat, then "oh my god its a real little baby in there"...

sorry i wasn't on last nite. of course that's great news!!! congrats and hang in there. the first tri is a worrisome time but all you can really do is pray for the best and take care of yourself
