Do you feel that people gave you more clothes at your shower instead of things on your registry?

I didnt get hardly any clothes at the shower my mom threw me.... at the shower my MIL threw me I got all clothes! (2 showers...loooong story)

I got a mixture of both. I got things from my registry plus an outfit. I didn't register for any clothing either. It was nice, people can't resist buying cutie clothes!

I haven't had my shower yet, but I do know that at all the showers I've gone too, I always get something off the registry AND usually an outfit or two for the baby, whether they know the sex or not. That seems to be a common thing.

I was really surprised at my shower that I got hardly any clothes, since at the 3 other showers I've been to they got soooo much.

I got a ton of clothes. But I also had to fly home for my shower and I think people thought giving clothes would be easier for me to pack.
I haven't had to buy my 3mo old daughter any clothes yet. Well, some socks (she came out with long feet and the NB socks didn't fit her), otherwise, she's still in the gift clothes!
