Those of you who charted...

If you used Fertility Friend as charting software, did the MD give you the same due date that FF did? I know FF takes into account when you ovulate, but the nurse practicioner I saw used the little wheel to "calculate".

Anyone else have this discrepancy? It's only 2 days difference, but I wonder which is more accurate. Is it possible, when I have my first sono, the date will change again?

FF said October 30
Nurse said November 1

Thanks!

I've used a few pregnancy calculators and they all tell me 10/14 so I go with that one. Plus, it's our one year anniversary!

FF told me 4/14
My first sono said 4/13
My second sono said 4/12

So I say 4/12 now.... like the previous poster, I like to say the earliest date!!!

Few people actually go on their due dates anyway, so it probably doesn't matter much!!!

Re: Those of you who charted...

When i went to the doctor, he said 6/5.
I told him that I had figured it out to be 6/4, and he changed it to 6/4 because that's also HIS birthday, so he liked it better Chat Icon .
Honestly, the due date is SUCH an estimation, it doesn't really matter. The odds of the baby actually being born on that day are pretty slim!

Re: Those of you who charted...

i am officially "due" 10/15, but it really should be 10/17-10/18 because i know i ovulated on day 16 or 17 of my cycle. the little wheel assumes a 28 day cycle (which i have) and ovulation on day 14 (which i don't), so it can be pretty off if you aren't a "textbook" menstruater (is that a word? Re: Those of you who charted...

i thought my dr was off, but he said that a few days really doesn't matter.

I will say, try not to go by the earlier day. I was very late with DS and it is very frustrating waiting.

Re: Those of you who charted...

i had a very long cycle ---O'd on day 27, so of course the wheel (which goes by date of last missed period) and my FF were like 2 wks apart. When the Dr. did the internal sono, he realized that my estimate of 5 wks was more accurate that 7 wks. i'm going back next wk---which will be 7wks and then he should have a better idea of a due date. FF said Oct. 31, and Dr. said btw Oct 25-30. I think FF date is pretty on target, guess we'll see.

Re: Those of you who charted...

I went with my own due date. That due date wheel goes by the old philosophy that everyone has a "normal" cycle and ovulates on day 14.

I think the only time it matters is if your having a scheduled c-section, like me.
