Patio Furniture
DH and I went to look at patio furniture today at Fortunoff's, target, home depot and lowes. Everything that is the size and the quality we like is really expensive. Can you girls please post your patio furniture and where you bought it. I dont know whether we should splurge and buy what we really want or save and spend half the money on a cheaper set.

If you can wait, I found that hitting the "after" summer sale is best to buy patio furniture.

In August or so. They start putting stuff on sale.
They sometimes have specials during June and July. So watch the ads.

I got our set in walmart, this summer will be the third year I've had it. I store the cushions inside but everything else stays outside all winter & it still looks perfect.
I paid $299 for the table & six chairs. I got the umbrella at pier one for $79.
The set I had before came from Kmart & lasted almost ten years. I can't justify spending $$$ on outdoor furniture.

try sears.
we found a set last year at fortunoff and were going to buy it. we stopped at sears on the way home and found a set that was as nice, even a little nicer, for a lot less.

If you aren't against getting something used, try garage sales or craigslist. We got a lareg table with 8 chairs and 2 lounge chairs for $75. Granted it is not our favorite style, but we needed something when we first moved here and didn't want to spenmd hundreds. The set is in pretty good - almost new condition and we have gotten so much use out of it for 2 years now. I think we will use it again this year and invest in something nicer next year.

We got ours at Sears too. Great price. I don't have a pic, but it's got a glass top table and six chairs in a cream color. Very simple.

Thanks ladies I went to sears today and saw a set I really liked. I think we may purchase it but we may wait to see if they have a sale soon.
