80th Birthday Gift
My grandpa is turning 80 in April and we're having a huge party for him. I am the oldest of about 22 grandchildren and I was trying to think of something to get for him either from just my husband, brother, and I or maybe all the grandkids.
Getting everyone together to do a group photo would be absolutely impossible at this point so I'd love to hear other suggestions.
My grandparents have 9 children and they are chipping in to get him lawn service for the rest of the time he lives in his house.
What can I do???
ETA: My grandparents have just about everything and anything that they could want or need which makes this 100x harder!

Re: 80th Birthday Gift
what are his hobbies and likes?
ETA: does he have a flat panel TV? If not, maybe you and bunch of other grandkids can chip in for one?

Re: 80th Birthday Gift
If you can't do a group shot how about a collage of photos?
Or how about paying for a proffesional photographer to come to the party & take some nice photos there. Maybe arrange for all the grandchildren to get to the place an hour before hand & take photos of Grandpa with the whole group. And some seperate. We did that for my MIL for her 80th.

Photo montage with all of his photos growing up - present usually goes over well.

For my DHs grandmas 90th, we gave her a new robe and slippers. She still oohs and ahhs about them four years later! She isn't one for big items though.

That's what I was going to suggest - doing the group shot the day of the party.
