isn't geico travelers? I had renters ins. through geico and it was actually travelers ins.

I'm not sure if it's Travellers but, it's definitely another insurance company. Geico really only writes auto but, forms relationships with other carriers that write other lines their customers would be interested in for one stop shopping!
They have an agreement with my company now to write their renters insurance

nationwide insures on LI. My rep is Steve Cali in Lindenhurst. It is 2,000 a yr. We had a fire(not our fault-faulty dryer) and have an undergound oil tank and 2 dogs

Travelers announced a few weeks ago that over the next 3 years they would be dropping all homeowners insurance on LI - same reason as all the others - we're overdue for a hurricane. I think that's BS! NY state is much larger than just LI and if they are going to be licensed to cover people in the state they should have to cover the whole state. That brings the number to 4 major companies that won't insure on LI now.
