people are sooo....
inconsiderate.... I was on the train to Manhattan to have a vocal coaching for an opera I am doing and while I am on the train he calls to say he has to cancel because he is stuck in another rehearsal in ct. This was 1 1/2 before my coaching... I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT!!!.... So when i got into penn station I turned around and went right back on the train home. He knows I am 32 weeks pregnant and still he did this.... So that was my day!!!

I agree that he probably couldn't help it though. I mean, he did call you and hour and a half before and not 5 minutes before, so he probably thought he was being considerate.

The fact that he was in CT tells me that he waited until the last minute. It would have been nice to be informed a bit sooner. Very inconsiderate to cancel only 1.5 hours before.... pregnant or not.

How long have you been working professionally as a musician? It sucks that he canceled last minute, but sometimes it's the nature of the business, and I'm sure you know that.
