OUCH - CHARLIEHORSE!
Well, even though I have been eating my bananas and tums ... I was victim of a super-painful charliehorse this morning! OUCH!!
Is there anything else you do to prevent them?
This was my first one - I am 33.5 weeks along ...

when you get one - stand up right away - they go away immediately from the pressure of your foot on the ground.

I always stretch before bed and that seems to help. Stretch your foot out and you will feel the muscle.

I woke up to one the other morning and tried to stand up (as quickly as I could, which wasn't very quick) and it went away almost immediately.
Those things HURT! And I always seem to get them an hour before my alarm is going to go off  . Rude awakening!
Not sure what you can do to prevent them....I hear bananas, but I can't eat them, so I just deal.

I get really bad charliehorses that I wake up DH screaming. It hurts so bad that I can't get up but DH holds my foot and I push against his hand and then it seems to go away. Talk about pain..OUCH!!!
