Mucus Plug (UPDATE)
Hey Ladies.. I was wondering once you lose the mucus plug.. how long was it before you gave birth?
********UPDATE*********
SO I went to the Dr yesterday. It turns out I am swelling and retaingin at TON of water and there was protein in my urine. I am borderline Preclampsia/Toxicma and I am now on bed rest.... Has this happend to anyone else..... Needless to say my Dr was upset with me I never really found out if I did loss the plug.

I never lost mine, but a friend of mine lost hers and didn't go into labor until 2 weeks later.

I lost mine while IN labor [so about 2-3 hours after it came out, I was a mommy...I had a 4 hour labor]. It's different for everyone. Just like your water breaking...some have to have it "popped" so they can push!

I started loosing mine about 3 weeks before I went into labor -- never had the "all at once glob" though. I didn't get bloody show until I was actually in labor.

With my son, i lost it at 6am, and had him by 4:23 in the afternoon the same day! My water never broke though, they had to do that for me!

I didn't visible lose the glob until i was 3-4 cm's in full labor at the hospital.
I did though have an increased thick brownish discharge the 3 days before DD was born.

I lost it while I was in early labor at home. I had DD about 8-9 hours later.

I lost mine Thursday at 4pm, my water broke Friday 5am and my son was born Friday 5pm.

About 3PM and DS was born at 11PM the same day so eight hours. My water also broke shortly after I lost the plug.

I lost mine on a Friday morning, went into labor in the afternoon - and had DD Saturday morning at 9:47 - so give or take 24 hours for me!
