Preeclamsia (not sure if I spelled that right!)
Does anyone have this? They are monitoring me for it because they said I have 3/9 things they look for and it can just happen overnight. Just wondering if you did/do have it what they did for you.
TIA!

Re: Preeclamsia (not sure if I spelled that right!)
I had it with Andrew. I was put on semi-bedrest at 6 months and then 2 weeks later complete bedrest.
I also had to drink a ton of water and really watch what I ate. It eventually got very bad so they had to do an emerg c-section 3 weeks early.
As soon as I had him I was back to normal
If you are borderline I would rest a lot and drink plenty of water. Try not to overdo it
ETA: I also had to go to the dr. every week

Re: Preeclamsia (not sure if I spelled that right!)
I did and I didnt...
I was on Procardia as a tocolactic (spelling?) after I had gone into preterm labor...this is also a high blood pressure med. It wasnt until after I went off the meds that they noticed that my blood pressure was a tad high...although i had had a few of the other warning signs...(retaining a lot of fluid and low platelets)..for me it just meant some extra appointments until the babies were born..I was going to the doctor so much that it wasnt an issue.

Re: Preeclamsia (not sure if I spelled that right!)
My doctor has had me under close supervision since my 34th week. Luckily, my only symptom has been elevated BP. I had to stop working then. Technically, I don't have full-blown pre-e but I too have been given the impression that it can happen any time.
In my case, I'd had normal BPs my entire pregnancy. At my 33 week visit it was elevated, and a week later it was still elevated.
I have been going to the doctor twice a week for non-stress tests and ultrasounds. I also had to do 24 hour urine tests twice to look for excess protein. Luckily, everything has been ok. There's also been some additional bloodwork. I am being induced next Monday at 39 weeks because with pre-e/high BP, the placenta can start to deteriorate rapidly after 40 weeks.
Good luck! Hope this helps!
