Cervical Ultrasound
After several early babies my doctor isnt convinced that this is "just me" and is going to have an ultrasound done at 16 weeks of my cervix..anyone else have this done?
I had it done with the twins but that was after I had already gone into preterm labor and was already a finger tip dialated...

I just had an internal sonogram done on Monday (14 weeks, 2 days) to measure my cervix.
I had a LEEP procedure done a couple of years ago and they wanted to make sure my cervix was long enough.
It was really just an excuse to see my little munchkin again! The doctor went all around the baby since he was already in there! And my cervix is all good!

Yes, I have to go every 2 wks to have it measured..... I had a cerclage.....

I had a cone biopsy a few years ago so they started checking me at 16 weeks. They ended up calculating my first measurement wrong so I had to go back 3 times and it appears everything is ok, but my Dr. just ordered another ultrasound just for peace of mind. Preterm labor is so scary so I would rather be checked than not checked. Good luck!
