Re: How do YOU store...

We have a huge linen closet in the bathroom. Some older comforters I packed away and sucked the air out of them with space bags. The other ones are neatly folded in the top shelf of the closet.

Re: How do YOU store...

my linen closet is so narrow. I'll have to get some space bags and store them in the basement.

I will probably end up putting ours in the basement in the air tight bags.

Bed, Bath & Beyond...it's about $30-40 (can't remember) for a set of about 12 different sizes (XL, L, M, and travel size)

Re: How do YOU store...

I got them on ebay. I looked in bed bath and beyond and even with the coupon it cost more. You get more bags also.

Re: How do YOU store...

I put some dryer sheets in with it in one of the spacesaver bags. Then the air gets sucked out and it's upstairs in the attic.

We have a walk in cedar closet upstairs - I store all the linens in the cedar drawers.

I just bought the space bags. They are awesome! My comforters are under the bed ( no room anywhere else). I bought the space bags at Burlington.

i use those space bags, they work great. I put them in that, take out the air and store them in a rubbermaid bin in the basement.

We have a chest in our TV room that we use as a coffee table and they are in there in the original bags they come in.

This is a tip I got from an older friend... To store your out-of-season comforters and blankets, just fold them in 2 and lay them flat between your mattress and box spring. It works beautifullyChat Icon

You use your vaccum nozzle to suck the air out and flatten the clothes/blankets, etc.
