Electronic Payments...
Are you able to pay mortgage and utilities electronically online? LIPA?

just make sure your mortgage payment is sent- my husband has seen people's credit reports with late payments b/c the online transfer got messed up
It will still be your fault- I would do it for 2 or 3 days early to be safe

Nope after you close you will get a statement in the mail..probably not until a month has gone by since you pay your first payment in your closing fees. Once you get the statement/invoice, you can set it up.
You are talking about your mortgage closing not the closing date of your payment right?

I am talking about my mortgage closing. So my first mortgage payment I will pay by check at the bank or mail it in and then I should expect a statement telling me how to set up mortgage online payments?
I assume I do utilities set up after closing as well? How much of the month's utilities do I pay if I close at the end???

for utilties -call and tell them when you are closing - they will come do a meter reading - bill the seller up to taht date and start your bill that day.
the first mortgage payment - we got a coupon at closing to make the first mortgage payment, so when i had my account number i enrolled in online banking and have it taken out of my checking account every month.

We pay all bills online through our bank (Chase/JP Morgan). Although many of our creditors offer online payment via their individual sites we like to do everything through our bank that way it's centralized.
