Can we eat liverwurst?

I am craving it so badly. I've stayed away from deli meat except for 1 turkey sandwich from a trusted deli, so if I get it from a trusted place can I eat it?

I've read on some sites that it has a good source for iron and I am borderline anemic and taking iron supplements so I thought this might have it's benefits.

On other sites we're warned to stay away from deli meat and meat spreads.

I'm not sure what to do.

I eat all deli meats, including the salt cured ones like salami in moderation.

Liverwurst is a hard one though, it's technically a pate, but it's not like it's fresh pate.

while i don't think 1 time will hurt you if you are craving it, but for me, as laid back as i am about food during pg, i eat all the no no's in moderation

I would call the doc on this one to be safe.

I crave liverwurst and bologna on a roll with spicy mustard and american cheese..yummm

I think if you have it once in a while it won't hurt...I was craving a Papaya hot dog the other day and I had one...I think moderation is the key!

I eat Turkey almost everyday. As long as it is froma reputable place go for it
