Wanted: Hitman for neighbor who won't leave

We have this AWFUL tenant who is supposed to be GONE tomorrow. He has caused me great pain [insane levels of noise so I can't sleep at night] and stress. We are currently living in a hotel until he leaves...it's that bad!

Well, DH calls the landlord to confirm the jerks will be gone by the 1st, apparently they hit a snag with the new apt....the current tenant had a family member die...in Croatia.

I have a deadline to finish my nursery by April 1 [b/c my mom who lives in FL is flying up and spending $$$ she doesn't really have to visit me for my shower in mid-April and I want her to see the room completed since she won't be able to visit again until the baby is about a month old] and I can't even begin to finish because I need to empty my garage into our storage shed and the "junk" from what was the spare room into the garage [also my 5 year old's large toys]. Why is this my neighbor's fault?

We pay more in rent [by a lot]to have full use of the garage, driveway, front yard, back yard and the storage shed. He put half his furniture in our storage shed!!!!!!!!!!

I have nesting problems...I NEED to do this. I NEED to be in that nursery folding clothes and arranging furniture and blankets just so. I NEED to do it....I feel awful that I'm not and really running out of time since I work 40 hours a week, I only have weekends!!!

So, if you know anyone in the mob....

I'm so sorry you are going through this. It sounds so frustrating. Preggos can't do any heavy lifting but I'll gladly volunteer DH to come help pull the guy's furniture out of the shed - it's your space, we can put it by the curb.

We thought about it, he threatened to call the police for damaging his property.

What is the Landlord saying? You are paying for the place, that's his job to give you what you pay for.

I am sorry you are going through this. What an unnecessary headache.

Is there a lock on the storage area? I woud think that if you are the ones paying for it only you and the landlord would have actual access to it I guess there isn't otherwise how would he have his stuff in there.

If you have a lease does it outline all of the areas that are considered yours, including the storage area?

Oh he knows it isn't supposed to be there...it's not news to him. He's just an a$$. I actually had to call the police on him the other day. The landlord just sits the fence...it's annoying. Thing is, he almost evicted the guy at the beginnign of January, but took too long and the guy said he was moving out at the end of February. Had he kicked him out in January, legally, he'd be gone and I'd have my sanity!

Forget the mob, you're surrounded by hormonal women. We can take care of this problem! I hope it's resolved quickly.
